Delete Your Account
& Your Child's Data.
How to permanently delete your TapTapLearn parent account, and any child profile under it — in the App or by email.
1. Who Can Request Deletion
Only the parent or legal guardian who owns a TapTapLearn account can delete it — a child never has their own login (see our Privacy Policy §2). Deleting the parent account deletes every child profile created under it. If you would rather remove a single child's profile and keep your account and any other profiles, see §6 instead.
2. Delete In-App (Recommended)
- Open TapTapLearn and sign in to your parent account.
- Go to Parent Zone → Delete Account.
- Confirm it's you with the method you signed in with (email session: your password or an emailed code; Google or Apple session: that provider's own sign-in).
- Type "DELETE" to confirm, then tap the delete button.
Deletion in our database happens immediately, and you'll be signed out automatically once it's done. We then ask our providers to delete their copies (see §4).
3. Delete by Email
- Email Support@TapTapLearn.net from the email address registered on your TapTapLearn account.
- Use the subject line "Delete my TapTapLearn account", so it's routed correctly.
- We'll reply to confirm your identity as the account holder, then process the deletion.
If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, your account email is an Apple private relay address. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time: open Parent Zone, then choose Delete Account. This route does not depend on email, so it works for Apple private-relay users, and it is the fastest way to delete an account and its data. If you would rather contact us instead, write to the support address below and tell us which account you want deleted.
We complete email deletion requests within 30 days of confirming your identity — the in-app method in §2 is faster because it doesn't need that manual identity check.
4. What Gets Deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes, straight away:
- Your parent account record (email address, sign-in details, Parent Zone PIN, and account settings).
- Your linked sign-in methods and unlink records.
- Every child profile under your account — nickname, avatar, age range, profile settings, and all game progress and skill data.
- Every leaderboard entry for your children, and their leaderboard consent records.
- Your subscription status in our database.
- Your referral code and referral reward records.
- The progress-report daily roll-up.
- Any pending sign-in codes, and failed sign-in and PIN counters for your email address.
- Any copy of your email address in our staff admin log.
- Your account activity log (the short security record of important account events).
We then ask RevenueCat to delete your purchase record, and Zoho Desk to delete your support tickets and contact record (Zoho moves them to its recycle bin, which it empties on its own schedule 60 days). If a provider cannot be reached, we retry every day and finish by hand if needed. If our connection to a provider is not set up at that moment, the request is kept in the same queue, we are alerted, and it runs as soon as the connection is in place; it is never skipped.
5. What's Retained, and Why
A small amount of data is kept after deletion, consistent with our Privacy Policy §12:
- Voucher redemption records — kept after account deletion to prevent voucher abuse (for example a deleted account re-redeeming the same code) and for tax and accounting records. After deletion they are linked only to an ID that no longer matches any person. Kept for 7 years from the redemption, then deleted.
- Gameplay events, crash reports, and email delivery records — these are not removed on request. Gameplay events carry only a coded value made from a random profile ID, never the ID itself, and crash reports have identifiers removed before they are sent. They expire on their own schedule: gameplay events three months after they are recorded, crash reports after 30 days, and email delivery records after 30 days.
- A single record that an account was deleted — it holds only the account's random ID (it matches nobody) and the time, with no email address or name. It is deleted automatically after 12 months (section 12 of the privacy policy).
- Gift codes you bought — they keep working for the person you gave them to, without your email address, the other person's email address or your message (section 12).
- A data download you saved — on your device (section 14). Delete the file yourself.
- Purchase records held by Apple/Google — subscription and payment history lives with the Apple App Store or Google Play, who process all payments directly.
6. Removing a Single Child Profile Instead
To remove one child profile but keep your parent account and other profiles, open Parent Zone → Manage Kids in the app and remove that profile — no email needed. It disappears from the app and from the leaderboard straight away. We keep its data for 30 days in case it was removed by mistake (email us to restore it), then permanently delete the profile, its progress, its skill data and its leaderboard consent records.
